I haven't had the opportunity to kayak yet, but I believe that it will be the next evolution of my outdoor explorations.
I currently love to float in canoes, and have only been in stage 3 rapids, looking forward to the stage 4 and possibly five rapids if i ever have a death wish

Re: Am I welcome??
Wed, September 6, 2006 - 1:06 PMWelcome. I have done some team canal kayaking. I also white water raft in Costa Rica when I can. I am going to be purchasing an ocean kayak (sea worthy kayak) soon. ...as soon as my husband and I decide on which on we each want. He is thinking of getting a Necky tandem and I am thinking of a Necky solo. He is 260 pounds and 6'7". I am 5'6" and 130 pounds. He is strong with his strokes. I am less so, though determined. Any suggestions anyone?
