Mon, April 11, 2005 - 8:20 AMHey there Crazy! Thanks for the reply. We have two whitewater kayaks -- a Necky and a Dagger. We also have a canoe. Are you in the NC area? Where do you like to go?? My husband has paddled most of the rivers in the state, with a few exceptions. I am a beginner, but he has taught the whitewater for NOLS on several occasions-- kayaking is a major passion. Having moved here a couple years ago, we just haven't found anyone to go with -- which is kind of helpful in terms of safety, setting shuttle et cetera.

I live in Southwest Va, got a couple of big creeks and a few small rivers real close bye. Some good class II small class III. Good and tight stuff! Check out a google on dan river kayak. Its some good runs up here and only about 3 hours from Chapel Hill area.
